THE BRIEF
This home, built in the early 1950’s, consisted of solid brick with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen dinette, formal dining room and spacious lounge.
It was recently purchased with the purpose of a total makeover to upgrade the entire home to suit the expectations of the new owner’s lifestyle.
THE DETAIL
Large open living spaces with adjoining kitchen with a deck space created an amazing alfresco dining experience.
The laundry and ground floor bathroom were redesigned and remodelled, the dining area modernized and the lounge area opened up to be in perfect harmony with a grand home. All of the existing ground floor windows were replaced, all internal ground floor wall surface rendering was re-done along with replacement of the ornate ceiling architraves and skirtings.
A huge casual dining area and family room including a new modern island bench stone bench top kitchen were added to the rear ground floor. The 2nd storey additions included a generous head of stair landing, TV entertainment area, 3 bedrooms (one of which a master with ensuite) and an adjoining walk through wardrobe.
Generous robe spaces provided the master bedroom with a truly grand proportion befitting this new spacious family executive style home.
The entire external was rendered and all areas re-landscaped, including a new front fence and stylish paving throughout the property.
